New exhibition, educational and functional opportunities for the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec
On April 14, 2021, the Mayor of Bolesławiec, Piotr Roman, and Adam Jakóbiec, Director of Lindner Polska Sp. z o. o. signed a contract for the reconstruction and adaptation of the building at 28/29 Zgorzelecka street, for the needs of the Museum of Ceramics. This is a task carried out as part of the cross-border project: “Poland and Norway on the European Ceramics Route – inclusion of Bolesławiec and Porsgrunn in the international cooperation network of cities with ceramic traditions”. The value of the signed contract is PLN 23,402,115.
The project “Poland and Norway on the European Ceramics Route: including Bolesławiec and Porsgrunn in the international cooperation network of cities with ceramic traditions” received funding from the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport. The total value of the project is PLN 19,994,046.98, and the grant amount is PLN 15,108,099.97. The project was prepared by the Municipality of Bolesławiec in cooperation with the Norwegian Telemark Museum and the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec.
