De f\u00f8rste eksemplene p\u00e5 dette h\u00e5ndverket stammer fra yngre steinalder, og arkeologiske funn viser at keramikk ble utviklet i nesten alle st\u00f8rre byer i Aserbajdsjan. I dag er det byen Sheki som har holdt tradisjonene i hevd, og hvor tradisjonell keramikk fortsatt er en del av dagliglivet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shekis historiske sentrum ble nylig oppf\u00f8rt p\u00e5 UNESCOs verdensarvliste. Kombinasjonen av den geoklimatiske beliggenheten til denne eldgamle byen, som tilbyr en rekke r\u00e5materialer \u2013 leire, t\u00f8mmer, elvestein osv. \u2013 og de rike tradisjonene som har g\u00e5tt i arv gjennom generasjoner, har gjort det mulig \u00e5 utvikle ulike h\u00e5ndverk, deriblant keramikk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Center for Ceramics and Applied Arts ble opprettet for \u00e5 bl\u00e5se nytt liv i keramikkens kunst og h\u00e5ndverk, oppdra en ny generasjon kunstnere og gj\u00f8re ulike typer leire og keramiske tradisjoner fra denne regionen kjent i hele verden. Det f\u00f8rste internasjonale keramikksymposiet ble arrangert p\u00e5 ABAD Center for Ceramics and Applied Art i Sheki i 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I dag kan du oppleve keramikk i Sheki ved \u00e5 bes\u00f8ke de sm\u00e5 keramikkbutikkene eller verkstedene, den sentrale basaren og Center for Ceramics and Applied Arts, eller nyte den lokale spesialiteten piti i en leirgryte, bes\u00f8ke Sheki Museum of Ethnography og beundre byens arkitektur med keramiske fliser og r\u00f8de
