Arkeologiske funn av kanner, sk\u00e5ler og fliser av steingods dateres tilbake til middelalderen, og allerede i 1492 ble &laquo;Gmundner&raquo;-keramikk nevnt i dokumenter. \u00c5rhundrer med keramikk i Gmunden og Salzkammergut har gitt opphav til et stort antall h\u00e5ndverkere og kunstnere som har h\u00f8stet internasjonal anerkjennelse. Gmunden har satt seg som m\u00e5l \u00e5 gi keramikkfaget tilbake sin historisk sett flere hundre \u00e5r gamle betydning og fremme det p\u00e5 en ny m\u00e5te.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hvert \u00e5r i august blir Gmunden et mekka for keramisk kunst med en blanding av samtidskeramikk; keramikere fra \u00d8sterrike og utlandet stiller ut i Gmundens gallerier og midlertidige lokaler, noe som forsterker fokuset p\u00e5 keramisk samtidskunst.\u00a0 Det halv\u00e5rlige keramikksymposiet samler europeiske keramikere og internasjonale eksperter til et fem ukers opphold.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">K-Hof Museum viser et kronologisk tverrsnitt av Gmunden og Traunsee-distriktets historie fra den geologiske begynnelsen til det 21. \u00e5rhundre. Det keramiske temaet g\u00e5r som en r\u00f8d tr\u00e5d gjennom hele utstillingen, og spesialutstillinger om historie og samtidskeramikk skiftes ut med jevne mellomrom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span
